Return & Refund Policy

Because every part we print is custom-made to your specifications, most orders are final sale once we begin printing. That said, if something goes wrong on our end, we'll make it right. Here's exactly how that works.
Custom Parts Are Final Sale
All orders are made-to-order using the file you uploaded, in the material, color, infill, and quantity you selected at checkout. Once we begin printing, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded for a change of mind, a mistake in your file, or a different material choice you wish you'd made.
If you need to cancel an order, email orders@1offmanufacturing.com as soon as possible. If we haven't started printing yet, we'll cancel and refund in full. If the print is already in progress or complete, we can't refund the order.
Manufacturing Defects (Our Fault)
If a part arrives with a defect caused by our printing process, we'll reprint it or refund you β your choice. Manufacturing defects include:
- Significant warping, layer separation, or under-extrusion that affects form or function
- Missing features that were clearly present in your source file
- Wrong material, wrong color, or wrong quantity shipped
- Cracks, holes, or structural failures caused by print settings rather than design
To request a reprint or refund for a manufacturing defect:
- Email orders@1offmanufacturing.com within 14 days of delivery
- Include your order number and clear photos of the issue
- We'll reply within 1β2 business days with a resolution
We do not require you to return defective parts β dispose of or keep them as you prefer.
Customer-Side Issues (Not Covered)
We're not able to refund or reprint orders for issues caused by the file or choices you made at checkout. This includes:
- Parts that don't fit their intended assembly because dimensions in your file were wrong
- Walls, holes, or features that are too small to print at the tolerance we offer
- A material choice that isn't suitable for your application (e.g., PLA deforming in a hot car)
- Visible layer lines, minor surface marks from support structures, or slight color variation β these are inherent to FDM printing and are described on each material page
- Parts that broke because the orientation of the print layers didn't match the load direction you needed
If you're unsure whether your file or material choice will work, email us before ordering. We'll review your file for free and tell you honestly if we see an issue.
Lost or Damaged in Transit
Once your package leaves our facility, it's in the carrier's hands. That said, if your package is lost or damaged in shipping, we've got you covered:
- Damaged in transit: Email us within 14 days of delivery with photos of the package and parts. We'll reprint or refund.
- Lost in transit: If tracking stops updating or the package is marked delivered but didn't arrive, email us. We'll open a claim with the carrier and reprint or refund your order.
- Incorrect shipping address: If a package is returned to us or delivered to the wrong address because of a typo at checkout, we can re-ship at your cost.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method via Stripe. Most refunds appear within 5β10 business days depending on your bank.
If your order used a promotional code (like FIRST25), the refund will be calculated on the amount you actually paid.
