What we look for

When you upload a part, we render it in 3D and color-code the geometry: red for features too thin to print, yellow for fragile thin walls, orange for overhangs that need supports, and green for the area that actually touches the bed. We score the part A through F based on what we find.

Good 3D printable part. Clean geometry, large flat base, minimal overhangs.
A Good

Clean watertight mesh, a solid flat base on the build plate, walls thicker than 1 mm, and few steep overhangs. Should print first try.

Decent 3D printable part. Printable but with some warnings about supports or thin walls.
B Decent

Prints, but with caveats, some thin walls, moderate overhangs, or a smaller bed contact. Expect supports and possible surface marks.

Problematic 3D part. Broken mesh, very thin features, tall isolated supports needed.
F Problematic

Major issues like a broken (non-manifold) mesh, sub-0.6 mm features that could get clipped or lost in printing, or tall thin pieces that need extensive support towers.

These are general guidelines, not hard rules. Plenty of parts that score lower can still be printed especially figurines, miniatures, organic models, and anything with fine surface detail are inherently harder for FDM and will often get flagged for thin features or overhangs even though they're may be printable. The score is meant to give you a sense of what to expect (lots of supports? possible surface marks? fragile thin walls?) so you can adjust your design or just go in with the right expectations.
